Hotel Florida - Alghero

Lovely hotel with a clean pool area and helpful staff. The evening meals were a bit disappointing.

Really good value for money if you get the best rates. the rooms are clean comfortable and well equipped (toiletries,hair dryers ,towels etc..) with a big lcd TV and sky. the walls are also really well insulated for noise so if you fancy being noisy in your room its no problem. the breakfast is a proper big buffet with everything your found in 4 star hotels. plus, its a short drive from the city. at 65 euro a night breakfast included and such a level of comfort its a bargain. ( however i can imagine prices will vary with the season)

Of course there are some downside: the hotel from the outside looks grim and horrible,even the name of the hotel at the top of the building is totally gone (so your don't know that the building is even an actual hotel when you arrive) location: on a round about on the side of a petrol station. not a good place to go if you are looking for something romantic or a to celebrate a special occasion. However you will be gladly surprised by the actual facilities once inside. and forget quickly the downsides.

The room was unbearably tiny, which really dampened my stay. The breakfast was utterly chaotic with a long queue for the coffee machine. Almost gave this a good review until they didn't even llook at my request for a complimentary upgrade, absoluteley unacceptable treatment for someone like me, I woudl ve been so deserving of that!

Location was good with a beach across the road and a 15 minute walk along a purpose built promenade into the old town where there where many nice restaurants and shops. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Breakfast had enough choice to suffice everyone and the restaurant overlooked the bay. Reception staff were very friendly and accomodating. I would use it again. Value for money for a 3 star hotel

Nothing to dislike - only couldnt get an English speaking channel on the tv.

Location is good and excellent.

Silent, modern room complete with shower, an extra bed, great air-conditioning.

Evening meals could use serious upgrades!!! Pool closing at 7 PM is an unnecessary inconvenience!!! Bathroom layout feels cramped!!! A kettle in the room would add comfort!!!

Make sure to get queen room with good storage, shower and excellent view. The location is absolutely perfect and the staff is best! There is restaurant Hollywood Cafe, set 500 metres walk away. 15 minutes drive to the airport, it is located close to the airport.

Helpfull, serviceminded and friendly staff at all hours.Very clean all over, also outside in the pool-area. A verry good feeling of team-spirit amongst the staff, i.g. the "Bagnini" cut the bushes and cleaned the tables in the pool area while watching the guests swimming. Very good indeed!

Friendly staff! The breakfast offered a nice variety, from pastries to scrambled eggs and bacon.

Small rooms were quite cramped! The evening meals lacked variety and weren't up to par, leaving us less satisfied.

Hotel is ideally located across a small road to the beach and a 10-15 minute walk from the Old Town. Rooms are very clean and spacious with a great view of pool area and beach. The pool area is spotless and keep very clean throughout the day.

The buffet breakfast is available until 10 am every morning. We went for breakfast at 9.30 each morning. At this stage there was rarely any scrambled / boiled eggs left. When we requested, along with other guests, for some eggs, the staff told us, no. Also, at breakfast, the tables along the window were marked reserved. However this was not because people were using the tables, staff were working ahead and preparing the table lunch. Small problems - restaurant staff should be more helpful and obliging to the guests.

Positive, Super close to the beach. Rooms have a lovely view of the sea. The breakfast was great with a variety of options, including warm food. Pool area was clean and well-maintained. Super nice team and kind 😊

Very old and outdated hotel with maximum 1-sar comfort. Noisy rooms either looking to the main road or next to te reception. Far away from the city center. Extremely unfriendly staff. We recommend you to keep away from this bad place!

This is a little gem of a hotel, good location bout ten min walk to old town and directly across from the beach even though beaches up the road further are more beautiful, buffet breakfast good and pool great
